Police should not have the power to arrest (as they do in Britain) upon suspicion of involvement in anything terroristy. Nor should politicians try to erode the freedoms we british take for granted. Things are bad, and terrorism will kill more over time I grant you, but the only "terrorist free" state is one such as Iran or Syria where people are not free to express opinions on pain of torture or death. The choice is live with the very small risk of terrorist enduced death and enjoy freedom, or live in a police state and enjoy a terrorist free society where the government lock up any free thinkers.

They need a removal of road blocks set up by the government. Governments always tend to put up red tape to protect social rights but this just makes it harder for people to do their job.
Lets not be so sensitive. I am sure the Muslim population can deal with more scrutiny. If they can't that in itself should be an area of concern.

all countried being effected by terrorism have to be on strict vigil all the time to avoid or minimise attacks from the terrorists. The other thing is if the Jehadis are ready to give up their own life then it is very very difficult to stop them.
Need of the hour is to eradicate them completely by waging war on them in areas like afghanistan, pakistan, jordan,saudi arabia, etc.
