I am starting high school this year, and I just don't want to have to go back to school. I hate school so much. I love to learn, but the stress of being around people and always being nervous makes me sick. Always having projects due and tons of homework adds to that feeling of stress and sickness. Being in social situations makes me think about suicicide, and I just feel like going home and hiding. I have no idea what I should do. I just cant deal with this stress of a new town, I just moved, and not being able to be around people. Homeowrk overwhelmes me, there is just waaay to much of it. I am in all honors classes too, so my homework basically doubles, plus we move at a much faster pace. Please if anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

By the way, I would never commit suicide, it's just thoughts of it.

Look I hated school when I was there. The people, the teachers and the fu*ken social b*llsh*t. I dropped out, took my GED and graduated before my class finished. I enrolled in college and now I am a Teacher my self. I remember all the crap from my school days and I try to make my classes as enjoyable as possible for my kids. Do what you have to but don't give up.

You know, it's hard being in your position. It's hard to begin again in a new town at a new school, especially as a freshman. It's hard to deal with hormones and puberty at the same time. Thoughts of suicide are nothing to take lightly. You should seriously think about seeing a counselor. As for school, I can understand why you don't want to go. But, you should. It's good to get that diploma.

Lots of people like you, but they get through it. Should not just quit. You'll be sorry later. Maybe you could get counselling to help you deal with your situation. Good luck. Hang in there. I quit in grade 10 for almost the same reasons and have regretted it.

you should think about getting counceling to deal with your problems and see about getting tutoring at home for your studies or see if its possible if its too early to go for your ged. try getting a part time job and see what its like to deal with the public then you will have some idea if you can handle larger situations of people

Maybe you should drop the honors classes and take regular classes. That would relieve some of the stress.

it seems difficult at first. but as you will get used to it, you will not hate going to school. Never run away from your responsibilities and always follow your duties. Be reguler and everything will be easy. Then, world would be a better place to live in
