Apples can be frozen, bottled, not this is not common here.
Cooked Apples are great for freezing, because they Thaw well without too much loss of Flavor or texture.
You can Puree for your sauces, or ready made pie filling, cool completely then spoon into waxed cartons or Ziplock bags. Seal the containers before freezing.
Another method is to dry Apple rings, and store them in jars.
Soak them before making pies, sauces, or casseroles. To reconstitute....cover in boiling water and leave for an hour or two then simmer until tender.

I'm in the US and don't use anything but salt. I've never heard of any special products for freezing apples and don't want to, this is too simple.
I have 40 quart freezer bags of apples in my freezer I put up week before last and have done it this way many years, my mom many years before that, and g'ma before that. I use them for applesauce, pies, fried apples, and in recipes.
Peel them, cut them off the core and soak in SALT WATER as you are peeling the others. This keeps them from turning brown. They DO NOT need to be cooked before freezing. A nice big shake of salt into a large bowl or sink of water will do it. Once you are through peeling.......drain and place in bags and freeze immediately.

The way I freeze apples is to slice the apples into lightly salted water and remove them and place in freezer bags. The salt keeps the apples from turning brown over time. I have kept them frozen for several months.

You don't freeze apples. They need to be cooked right away.
