I highly doubt I am. A false god can't do anything to protect anyone. God's looked over me, and kept me safe, long before I acknowledged Him.
Anything less than the True God is a false god. I can say, "been there, done that" to almost every other major religion, and not a one of those false gods were capable of caring even a bit about me. During those times, I was never guided, I was never protected, I never had foreknowledge of whether my deeds would be counted as good or evil against me. They had no presence in my life, even as much as I wanted them to be. The Lord God, however, is different. I know He is with me 24/7, whether I am aware of His presence or not. I see His work being done with me, around me, through me. I feel the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, a unique feeling, one I could not comprehend before the moment it happened. For all this, and so much more, I give Him, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, due glory as God.
And if, some how, by the infintessimally small chance that I am wrong (yeah right), then Pascal's Wager comes into play... my loss is neglible, and worth not taking into consideration. However, do not take that as doubt... but rather, that the joys of living the Christian life, to me, are far superior than the miseries I suffered under every other religion I experienced... and no lesser, falsely understood, version of hell could make me change a life of love and charity in the name of my Savior, for one of death and destruction under any other name.

Actually, that is an excellent question. A person needs to read and study the Bible for many good reasons. One of those reasons is so you can pick a church that actually teaches and preaches the Bible. The whole Bible, not just a few selected verses that are taken out of context.

You'll end up having the wrath of that wrong god. High blood and you'll be unable to think properly and that God would be the devil in your life forever not unless you bow/bend to its will.
I have known a saying that ' I'll be your best of best friend you can get but you won't like me when I'm your enemy, because I'll be the worst enemy you can get."

I believe that there is no such thing as a "wrong god", just different beliefs of how to worship said god. I feel that it is all the same, and in the end, it won't matter.

the first part of the question is true for anyone who goes to church (or whatever) for the simple reason that there is no god, which conveniently means you don't have to worry about the second part of the question
