Birth

If the dreamer is pregnant the dream will be an acting out of hidden wishes, fears or desires, but, soon after you dream of giving birth to a child, or someone else giving birth, you will hear some good news. If the birth is in relation to animals this shows that any enemies working against your best interests will be defeated, and if the birth is multiple then you will gain a larger monetary reward for your labors.

I'm going to take a stab at this. I don't think anyone but yourself can tell you what the dream means - specifically. I think its obvious it probably has some symbolic meaning, but to determine what that is, you'll have to ask yourself, not others. I do know this -- its important, or you wouldn't keep dreaming it. Go into a quiet room, shut the door, turn out the lights, sit down in a comfortable position, start breathing deeply, calm your mind, and ask yourself what the dream means. Wait, listen, and the answer will come to you. Good luck.

Labor
Most dreams where you see labor performed is considered a good dream. Animals heavily burdened shows that you are to become very prosperous but should treat your help with more respect. To see men at work means you will soon engage in a profitable enterprise or your health will improve

This is a great site - has all dreams by subject and their meanings - an online version of the books you mentioned:

Hi.Dreams can mean alot of things. Some dreams may reflect on what your going through in your life now, others may just tell show what your deepest fear or desire is in life. Some dreams can be given some thought but try not to think too much about it. Your just in your subconsious state. But if you really do wanna know more about it, just go to the library to borrow. U can try the national library at Bugis.Take care.God bless:)

If you haven't gotten pregnant, you might be curious about what it's like. Your mind might be exploring that idea. If you have had a kid, you might be worried about getting another one. Your mind might be flashing back to past labours you've had. You might be having some stress in your life and your mind is translating that to something else you think is stressful, like labour pains. Your mind might be just having random thoughts about what it's like to be in labour just because it is a random subject that came up in your dream once, but was vivid enough that it liked to repeat it because it found it interesting.

... And it could be a myriad other things your mind just happened to think about that prompted it to concentrate on labour.

You are 'giving birth' to something in your waking life. It seems to be about a creative process, whether that is an actual project or something internal or whatever, only you know.
Dreams have symbolism that is unique to the dreamer. Maybe ask yourself questions like 'What am I labouring over?' or 'What am I giving birth to in my life?' Is the birth process easy, difficult?

generally dreams try to express what u ponder over in the most part of the day or what u want badly or they try to make u realize the reality which u do not want to trust.
also sometimes dreams have a hidden meaning in them.
more can be known by a psychologist.

It means you have a creative urge and you need to express it. Go to it and find out how you can really express yourself in whatever form you find most appealing. If you are pregnant, it is a small preparation for the greatest event of a woman's life - creating a child!
