tore my ACL when a few years ago, knee swelled like a balloon. Now I have a pin in my knee and a new tendon. Moral of the story: rest your ligaments and always warm up properly.
and yes it hurts like hell

yes and i would rather have teeth pulled at least thats over in a few minutes muscles and tendons take a long time to heal a hot bath a couple times a day will be good for that

Pulled my left hamstring about 7-8 years ago. Yes it did hurt!

i tore a tendon in my knee just last week, yes it does hurt like hell

Man it sucks. Just give it rest till the pain goes. Use ice for the pain.
