I think some people would rather not put up their own picture, I'm one of them. I would rather not be throwing my image all over yahoo answers, I've learned from experience that having your image online isn't always such a good idea. Like I said to sweet&czech..if you don't want men to mail you, block mails on yahoo answers and don't use a provocative picture. Common sense- problem solved.
The Yahoo avatars are just a bit of fun I think and are not harmful or offensive in any way.

dont care if they really wanna play with that so called cute avatar.
just hope they can show their real pics bcause sometime we were thinking, 'im actually talking to an avatar instead of the real people'.
