It doesn't matter about your height or your sex. To work out the best estimation of your daily calorie requirement follow the steps below. The only way to get a more accurate requirement figure is to undergo a test called the Douglas Bag analysis, or a Bodygem test (not sure they are available yet in this country) but these are unnecessary for most people.
1. Work out your BMR this is the basal metabolic rate and is set at 25 calories per kg of body weight. The BMR is an estimation of how many calories you would need if you just lay down all day.
2. Then add a percentage on to this. For a very sedentary lifestyle (ie no exercise and an office job) you would add 25% to your BMR, for a quite active lifestyle (maybe a reasonably active job and exercise three/four times a week) you would add 50%-60%. Really serious athletes or people who have really physical jobs can add 100% to the BMR.
Once you know what you should be eating, monitor for a few weeks and see if you need to make some minor adjustments

You sound about right, height/weight ratio. If you have an active job you'd need about 3500calories. Sedentary, (desk job) around 2800.
This is an average guide. It mostly depends on your body type. If you are 'lanky' then you'll know by the rolls of fat around your waist-line whether you're a bit overweight or not.

2000 to 3000 calories but it depends what your plans are for the day. If you do exercise you may need more, if you just sit around all day make it less

Not sure exactly but it depends on how many calories you burn each day. Someone that sits behind a desk each day needs a lot less than someone who is doing a physically demanding job.
