Can anybody tell me how to remove the "Recent Document" system folder from the start menu in Windows-XP. I know this can be done through registry eitor, but I don't know how to go about. Will be most grateful if anyone can provide me help. Thanks.

The steps you have to follow to do this are,-
1. Right-click the tool bar.
2. Select the "Properties" label.
3. Then go to "Start-menu" tag.
4. Then select the Customize option.
5. Then go to the Advanced tag.
6. Then clear the box for the Recent Documents.

Hi Go to start menu, right click at bottom to open properties. At start Menu tab click advanced button next to start menu check box. Then on advanced tab uncheck the " List my most recently opend documents".

and if u want to remove all the folder from start menue then right-click on task manager and select properties then select start menue page click the customize button
