We are told Jesus was buried and descended into Hell.

We assume God managed to keep him pretty much intact for the three days, in spite of his journey. If his physical body was damaged it was sufficiently restored so he could be raised again from the dead.

But I don't think the resurrected Christ was very dependent on his physical body. I believe he was very much a supernatural being at that point, capable of even greater miracles than he was before the crucifixion, which was the mission he was sent to accomplish.

Good question. When Jesus rose from the dead He received a glorified body. His body was restored and made better. He could do things in His resurrection body that a normal human body is incapable of like appearing ina room without opening the door etc...

After 3 days, not much decompsition would happen, from either a spirtual or scientific point of view. After Jesus died, same as with any human being, the body would be okay to view. Beyond that, Jesus was divine so, He could do pretty much anything He wanted to. And your point was??

First thing, he is not dead. He was alive all through the days. These stupid christians are giving false news. He was tied in the cross and was tortured. Jesus fainted but not dead. They thought he was dead and they left. After couple of days, few on-goers saw him murmering. They rescued him and gave him medical treatment. Then, he was under comma (a state of unconciousness) for few weeks and he died. This is what has happened.

Christian fundaMENTALists like all other fundaMENTALs coined super stories and till date are successfully running their show.

if he'd stayed "fresh" where would the miracle of ressurection be?

also he rose on the third day.
if he died too late in the afternoon to be 'embalmed' by jewish ritual under the traditional rules of the sabath [sundown on friday] and rose at the first light of being able to embalm [sunrise on sunday] he was not technically dead for 3 full days.

not to mention most crucified bodies were not dead when they were entombed. this was the reason their sides were speared and their legs were broken. made escaping their fate impossible.

You are another one of those nutcase that needs his head examined. The resurrection of Jesus is a phenomenon that is a matter for faith and not scientific proof. What has freshness got to do with this?

I would think the cave in which he was placed
was so solidly of a rock nature that it was actually
cool inside, the body was not put into the ground,
Italy and Mexico are 2 countries that have under
ground caves full of skeletons from burual in
olden times.

organs take a while to decompose. especially in a dry cave.

then again, that is if you prefer a literal interpretation of the bible.
