Who can be more manipulative?

In your opinions, who can be more manipulative, Men or Women?

Varies between individuals - both men and women can be devious and manipulative.

More women use it as a tactic than men on average, I would say, because traditionally men have had more options. Until relatively recently, men have held the purse strings, been the ones most able to walk away from a family and be financially secure.

Furthermore, men are generally physically bigger and stronger than women and have used physical violence to gain an advantage.

Consequently, more women have been in a situation where emotional manipulation, secretiveness and deviousness are neccessary evils.

These days, though, the boundaries are blurred - gay relationships have their ups and downs as much as straights, chavvy women drink and beat their menfolk, some men stay at home while the woman is the main wage earner - so she can have an affair with her secretary and he has no money of his own, broken families hits men in the pocket through child support... equality - it's progress, apparantly.

Either way, it's nothing to be proud of!

Some women lie and manipulate, usually using their body language or words to lie. Men lie with their hearts, men cause the kind of damage that takes years to undo..... I think men win on this issue. No offense.

It really depends on the person not the gender. I've been trained by masters, my former family, so I know I can be more manipulative. I am sure some men are too.

Women. They have that mother of all manipulating instruments whose lure is so powerful we will get down on our knees not only when ordered but when simply allowed. And it's not just men that are drawn in to its vortex. (I wanted to use the phrase "black hole" here but it seems a bit vulgar.)

women...nowadays women are more outspoken and empowered. they can be so independent and goal oriented that they tend to be manipulative and domineering.
