Yes, it's still a sign of faith that you believe that their prayers will help you and shows love from someone you know. Definitely ok.

Of course it is. When you look through the New Testament epistles quite often Paul asked other Christians to pray for him.

i believe it is more than ok to ask someone to pray for you. it shows humility and you will get extra back up for your prayers. also, so many guys in the Bible asked others to pray for them like Paul.... i'll pray for you if you want..

yes of course it is sometimes the more prayers the better. affter a recent illness i asked my friends to pray for me . its also good for you to pray for others it cant do any harm can it?

James 5:16 ..a righteous man's supplication has much force..

Most definately. In the book of James we are advised to ask for prayer if we are sick. I frequently ask for prayer.

yes, but why not pray ureself for ureself.. ? and others too ... ? one who asks others to pray for them, has limits to religious beliefs,, i.e, not confident.. become more confident in islam, Allah will grant all ure prayers
