First of all, I'm not Muslim yet, but I'm trying to convert.
I was born in Hungary, a mainly Catholic country, but I'm not religious.
Why did I choose Islam? Well, the reason is perhaps not the purest: I fell in love with a Muslim girl. Since then I learnt a lot about Islam and keep on learning and hope one day I can accept the Qur'an's teachings.
Now, gimme the 10 points to encourage me! lol

In the Qur'an, Allah says to the Prophet Muhammed pbuh, and the believer "it is NOT you who make belief, It is only I who does".
All one needs to do is to humble himself before the Almighty and ask for guidance, just like Abraham did.
Do not let pride, ego, bias or prejudice affect your judgment as you read the Qur'an and the vast body of the prophet Sunna (Statements) and Islamic literature. If you do not free your mind and heart from these obstructions, then it will be near to impossible to see the light of truth to which these sources are referring so often.

If you consider the UK a non Muslim country then there are far too many who have been 'brainwashed' by Imans and become Muslims. They tend to be the extremists who commit terrorist outrages rather than true believers.
