If so, then y is it when we pray we need to be specific bout what we pray for? does he already know whats goin on in our life?? Because hes the one givin it to us??

The future of humans being is make by themselves because God gives us the power of think and determine , so humans make their future . God helps them to find the best way for life in the holy books like ( Koran ,Gospel , ... ) and sent the Prophets to guide people to find the way . And about pray , it is just for thank God for all things that give us in life , and wants him ti give us a good afterlife .

God Knows us very well cause he is our creator....
We should Pray cause when a man was sick in the pool of bethesda .. God asked him do u want to be well... there was a question .... He answerd tht Lord i want to be healed.. so God healed him.. God knew tht from 30 years he was sick. and there was no one to help him... so God say like this Ask it shall be given .. knock u it wil b opened.. God need's our heart to be set in his will.. so he depends upon us to ASK .. God knows wat ur going to pray befor u open ur mouth..

And actually --I had a friend who only prayed to accept that which God had deemed fit to give him and to be grateful for it. Most incredible person. . .
