What is the best colored highlights for long red hair?

My avatar and me have about the same hair color, just to give you an idea how red my hair is.

I got natural looking highlights before, like a copper color. If you want a more bold look go with blonde. If you want it darker get lowlights in red : ] hope I helped!

Usually a caramel color looks best on redheads...But the best way to find out what would look best on you(because the color/hue/tone of your skin will affect the way it looks as well) is to go into a nicer beauty salon and tell them what you were thinking of doing and ask them, they'll give you an honest educated opinion. By the way you don't have to have it done there...just act like you want to think about it after you get your answer ;)

If you have red hair I would stick with red highlights, ask your stylelist to give you strawberry blond it will look great and not stick out too much!

Think of the colours in an autumn leaf, it has colours ranging from red, to burnt copper, to brown, to gold, all of those colours would look stunning in red hair.

go with a combo of copper highlights and dark red low-lites. gives it demotion and looks really good
