The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst they said to him, "Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such. What do you say about her?" This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, "Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her." And once more he bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. But when they heard it, they went away, one by one, beginning with the eldest, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him. Jesus looked up and said to her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you; go, and do not sin again." (John 8:3-11)

Addiction, in any form, can cause inner tensions and frustration which you may feel powerless to overcome. God longs to set you free through Jesus Christ our Lord; see Romans 6:11-14. The Bible says, "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed" (John 8:36, NKJV). Make certain that you have made your commitment to Christ now by asking God to forgive and cleanse you of your sins and give you life eternal. After you have done this, believe that God has forgiven you and made you His child; read John 1:12, Romans 10:13, and 2 Corinthians 5:17.
None of us is strong enough to overcome temptation in our own strength, but God will give us the strength; see Philippians 4:13. 1 Corinthians 10:13 states: "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able; but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it" (NKJV). Note that it is God who provides the way of escape. Read 1 John 3:8. Talk to the Lord many times a day, asking for His help. Read your Bible and fill your mind with thoughts from His Word. The Word of God will have a purifying effect on your life; see Psalm 119:11.
The old sinful lifestyle must now be replaced with the new life in Christ. This requires the enabling power of the Holy Spirit to replace the old habits with new. Avoid companionship with those that influence you to indulge in sinful activities. Make a list of those activities and habits you want changed. Set some positive goals for your life, and with God's strength go after them. Take the initiative and seek the counsel of a gospel-teaching pastor or other dedicated Christian worker.

Only once a day? That's pretty good.. I used to jack off like 7 times a day... Now its like 2-4 times a week, but that's only because I gotta gf now... I think it might be a sin to deny your body your sexual desires. Sex and masturbation is healthy. Actually, I think denying masturbation can cause some stress. Sex is unhealthy with hookers though.. Stay away from those.

God never asked you to (stop) doing anything , all he asked that ye who are heavy laden come unto him and he will give you rest .Being a christian is not a marathon ,to see wo can win a race it is an everyday walk with God learning of him and understanding who he is and that when you learn to love God completely you will not want to sin because if you love him you will want to please him, I read these questions every day in the hope there may be some on here who just doesnt understand ,that God loves us competley without reservation ,and it is so sad to see there are so many people who seem only to want to argue with or about God when he offers what the world sure does not . LOVE UNCONDITIONAL WOW not how good we are just , or bad we are just because we are love unconditional wow

You must cast ALL your cares on God and trust in Him!! He will work for you.... through you. Try this.. Develop a prayer life. Get up 10 minutes earlier than you are used to and ask the lord to forgive you of all of your sins. Ask him to keep you from sinning against him. Tell him how you feel, be honest, and don't be ashamed to verbally confess your sins. Ask him to keep your thoughts pure and pleasing to him. Thoughts are not sins until you act on them!!!! Ask the lord to change your very desires. Ask him to give you a hunger and a thirst after righteousness!Seek God like your life depends on it!!!! I struggled with this sin for years, until I finally came to the conclusion that I couldn't stop doing this sin on my own!! I confided in a spiritually mature person at my church, and they prayed with me constantly until the lord delivered me!! Be accountable to someone who you knows has your best spiritual interest at heart!! Read your bible daily, and don't stop praying. You might even need to fast. I did. Set aside some time and designate it to the lord. Go without t.v., talking to your friends, or whatever you need to do. The lord will honor your fast if you are sincere!!! Read...IIChronicles 7:14 and Act 9:34 I'll be praying for and with you!!

If you are a Christian seek the one who can help deliver you. I was a sex addict and totally into porn, strip clubs maturbation and the like. When I accepted Jesus as my savior I turned those things over to Him and He freed me. The best thing to do is to pray, read your Bible, go to church and hang out with other believers. Talk to you pastor for acountabliity. Galatians 5 says walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Just stop. It's only as hard as you let the devil make it for you. Come on, you got Jesus. He got you this far, and he can keep you. The devil is petrified that you will become the man you were predestined to be. The closer you come to your destiny, the more he will mess with you. The devil is desperate because he knows his time is almost up. Keep going man.
