The tummy and ab region is very susceptible to poor diet ... we often gain pounds there first. You should look into maintaining a healthy diet for your lifestyle as well as engaging in aerobic exercises.

I think the best way to keep an active routine is to find activities you actually enjoy doing that are also aerobic in nature. For some this could be running in the park or hiking in wilderness ... others might prefer sports like basketball or soccer ... the key is to enjoy exercising since then you are likely to quit or feel as though it's a chore.

If you have a bike, ride it at least an hour a day...It will tone up your leg, buttock and tummy muscles.
Also you can do sit-up exercises.
And if you don't think it silly...get yourself a hula hoop and use it about 20 minutes a day...It's great for the waistline!

P.S. Avoid carbonated beverages...they make the tummy bloat.
And eat healthy foods...losts of fruit and veggies! Slow down on bread and carbohydrates... They also can cause gas that makes your tummy bloated!
