Could have been - and yes I'm Catholic - but i don't think she was the holy grail... It's right that it used to be a crime not to be married at his age. So what if he did have kids? He was half human... but the holey grail is def. the cup that was used to collect Jesus' blood on the cross and also an excuse for the vadican to commit primative crimes.

Only if you believe in The Da Vinci Code. Jesus, according to Christians, couldn't have been married. They say this because they believe Jesus is God. According to the Hebrew Bible ("Old Testament"), God symbolically married the nation of Israel, so if Jesus was married, he would be committing adultery, a sin, and thus would no longer be sinless, thus no longer being the perfect sacrifice. If Jesus was married, in Christian thought, then Christianity would just fall apart. Who says there has to be a "Holy Grail". The only reason it's so sought after is because of it's level of fame from the legends of Arthur. The Bible doesn't mention a Holy Grail. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that the cup Jesus drank out of has special powers. It doesn't even say that Jesus ate or drank at the Last Supper. It just says that he broke the bread and poured wine, and instituted the Eucharist. Of course, he would've eaten in Christian thought, the meal being a Passover meal, so he would've eaten, Jesus being an observant Jew.

Mustafa, no, there is not one shred of evidence, bibliographically, historically or archaeologically, that God the Son was married. If that were the case, there would have been documentation of that...ever been to a Jewish wedding? Quite a party...

We don't even know what the Holy Grail is supposed to be...a chalice, a woman. The Holy Grail is a mythological construct invented during the time of the Crusades.

Sorry...no evidence.

No and there is no such thing as the Holy Grail. It was a bit of fabrication inserted into Medieval stories to provide a religious angle to them. The Holy Grail isn't even mentioned anywhere until the 1200's.

No, I believe that Jesus was never married but remained single through His short life on earth. Mary Magdalen was a woman, a devoted follower of Jesus, not a human representation of a cup that was used to drink water/liquids from.

That all will depend on who you ask and what their beliefs are. I do not know enough about the story to come to that conclusion (and NO I am not talking about the DaVinci Code, there is much more to this than a simple fiction story...) My sister believes that yes, Jesus may have been married to her... and I think that it could be completely possible considering a good chunk of Jesus's life is missing from the Bible.

Just watched "The Da Vinci Code" didn't you? I have to give Dan Brown credit for causing so much controversy. It's a sure way to garauntee sales for his publishing company- damn all you religious types out there- Mr. Brown needs money! Don't believe it. I've read it- it's actually not that bad, but seriously- get a brain. A 2000 year cover-up? Someone would have slipped up by now!!!

Why don't you read first the Bible before listening to such kind of profanation? If you are really interested to know the truth, then search for it by yourself not by anyone's opinion. Dan Brown based his story from some false writings that were already proven by a Princeton professor as incorrect. And it is stupidity to go on that flow.

at first, the previous testomony will never point out Mary, and could only point out Jesus by using prophecy and not by ability of call. the recent testomony does point out a Mary Magdalen, yet there is unquestionably no point out of Jesus ever marrying everyone. no longer one spec, no longer one iota.
