e.g. the http bar, the list of my top sites across the top of page.
I use a Mac OS 10.4.7 & my browser is Safari. This should be simple, yet it's not!

I'm assuming you're talking about the website within the browser, not the browser itself...but not sure, so correct me if i'm wrong.

There are several ways to do this. The easiest way to do this would be to use your command key () and + or - to adjust the size of the text. You can also customize your toolbar and add a button on the browser to change the font size. You can also permanately change it by going into Safari > Preference > Appearance and changing the font or by using a style sheet.
