try lifting weights and eating a little more protein to gain muscle weight. it will rev up your metabolism and help keep your diabetes in control. try eating more nuts, peanut butter, lean proteins such as chicken or fish and some cheese. add a little bit of olive oil to your salads, pastas, to add bulk without eating a ton of saturated or trans fats. you could eat the same kinds of foods that you are eating now, just eat a little more and exercise less. that happened to me when i was first diagnosed. if you are still confused, maybe you could make an appointment with a nutritionist for more expert advice. good luck.
