anyone in the world will take it when there is any offer with 100% gurantee what's wrong in taking it.
because if we will be content then how will we make progress. we will have no feeling of doing anything new.
if people wud have been content from the ages then there wud not have beeen any discoveries or new researches.
life is to go on n onbut by not hurting others n by goin in a fair way up .

Because we are supposed to struggle. That's the only way to grow spiritually.
As to the lottery? You bet I'd take it, in a heart beat! I don't play, because the odds aren't good enough. Instead I invest the money & I come out far ahead. But, I wouldn't spend the $$ from the lottery. Again, I'd invest it. I've done very well w/ the investments I have. I was able to retire @45yo & now am restoring a beautiful house, travel extensively & just bought a hobby farm in Missouri. Most people would piss the $$ away, I'd found a dynasty.

i'd take the $$$ and run. r u kidding?
and we're never content b/c we always want more. why? its the human inside of us. and even when winning all that $$$ from the lottery any sane human would still want more $$$. i guess what im saying is nothing last forever and if people what more of something there's usually a need right after that that urges us to go after (whatever it is) so as to have more of it.

Contentment lies not in inactivity, but in acceptance of any result of an activity.
If I feel like trying my hand at a lottery, I would. And I would be content, even If i did not win anything.
I am content with my life. I have
a) Challenges that Inspire me to do achieve
b) People to celebrate my achievements.
c) GOD, who does only what's good for me.
So, I am content.

aAhhhhhh when the heart has given(no religious stuff keep reading) and one has been proactive in a random act of kindness..to NOT stick around for accolades, is when the life heart and soul are truly at Peace...it is the constancy of this life style that going out of your way for another takes you Completely out of your own troubles......hence....."Listening is the better part of conversation.." I quote 'myself' and practice what is in the aforementioned.
Though I am not quite satisfied with doing enough...,your point is well taken.....I suppose that I haven't a clue....or do I....hmmmmmmmmm
It is the inherent nature to only be satisfied when one has understood a situation or another's intent. You brought a smile to my face.....now I Wonder bout you, great Question!
Oh...BTW Ihave hit 6 out of 6, 4 iout of 4 and won $375.00 at blackjack in 10 minutes....but nahhhh the lottery? Only if a child needs something......dress, shoes, you knkow the routine.....I grew up in las vegas, will not go back...it is a place of poverty and long sad faces.....Lottery to me is having currency...currency to me is TIME.....thanks for allowing me to share mine with you. of course I wouod take it, and share it as i am able.....with what wisdom I have. I teach underprivileged children to read on my own time.....FREE...so books wouod be the target here....it opened up a panorama! Beyond text and "Int the book...!!!"
Simply fabulous!

I believe the essence is that the absence of growth is death.
To keep growing - not physically, but morally, spiritually, intellectually - we have wants and needs, and as we recognize them we work at changing... sometimes our needs are silly "a vuitton bag, sunglasses..." and geared to appearance, other times hit a more profound goal "going back to school, having children, finding a mate", or simply MONEY, which is often covering all bases...
Would I take it? you bet. Then, I would... I would... oh, but that is the answer to another question.

As St Augustine says, "my soul will not rest until it rests in You". We'll only be content when we have returned to our Creator

The world is a pretty big place to not want to experience as much as you can. We learn through our experiences...why stop trying.
