I know a lot of girls who have that problem, I'm not sure. You should go ask your doctor, perhaps some supplements or something.

Hey me too. I've been underweight my entire life. I'm ALSO 100 lbs! My mom is 95 lbs! We eat a lot too (no eating disorder). What helped me gain weight for a while was getting physical exercise everyday. I gained 5 lbs from muscle! I also started eating healthier. Then I gave up exercising everyday and I'm back down to 100. Oh well. Muscle weighs more than fat so go ahead and start lifting weights! But be sure to not do it so quickly at once to avoid stretch marks.
Furthermore, if you get hungry, try eating lots of whole wheat products like bread, cereal, or granola bars (my fav!). They're the only healthy thing that fills me up (veggies and fruits just don't cut it enuff). You can try shakes or those protein or whatever drinks that say they are full of nutrition and vitamins. Pasta also helped me gain a bit weight. From reading other ppl's responses, I'll give u my experiences with them. Milk did nothing. I used to drink a big cup of millk before bed everyday (b/c it helped me get sleepy). Nothing happened. I also used to drink Ensure daily. It tastes nasty and I didn't gain a pound from it. Also, do not overdose on the sugar (or fat, but I doubt u have to worry about that since you're a veggie) because u will have heart probs. I'm only 18, but I used to take advantage of my skinniness by indulging in fats and sweets. My chest hurts every now and then. Not good. Also, don't try overeating before u sleep because although you will gain weight from that, it will go straight to your belly only! So u might look like some pregnant thin chick. Finally, eating lots of carbs didn't help me. I love potatos and rice, but nothing happened. I also often eat cheese and avocados. Nothing happens.
Also, whether I ate 3 meals or 5, I stayed the same weight. What others have suggested to me is adding 500 extra calories to my diet everyday. I've heard u gain 1 to 2 pounds weekly if u do that.

I think Ensure has some weight gain drinks. Personally, I'm not a vegetarian and I still have trouble gaining weight. Pre-pregnancy I was 5'8" and 100lbs. However, I've heard that weight training helps a lot. When you work the muscles, they gain density and muscle weighs more than fat, plus you don't have to worry about your metabolism sapping away at it like you would with fatty tissue. Personally, I just didn't have the discipline to continue weight training, but I did end up gaining about five pounds before I lost interest. I ended up gaining about 10-15 lbs in muscle weight alone during pregnancy though (hey, something has to carry all that weight) so I do think that muscle training is the way to go.

i have same problem but i do bodybuilding and eat Mega Mass (Weider)be carefull it must be original and gain 7 kilograms after 14 months not very good but i am satisfied
You may be a genetic ectomorph - a 'skinny type' - with a fast metabolism who has found it difficult to gain weight. And you probably know that the two basic factors for gaining weight are lifting weights to promote muscle growth and increasing calorific intake to provide fuel for muscle growth.
For this you need motivation and focus and that is where this hypnotic session is going to help.
Get your mind behind your weight gain efforts
The Gain Weight session will start by getting you feeling so relaxed. It will then feed your unconscious mind with powerful suggestions to start your journey towards greater muscle bulk. It will get you motivated and enable you to stay on track for more weight, muscle, strength and fitness.
Just think how great it's going to feel when you start noticing real changes in yourself. When your clothes start to feel tighter across your chest, arms and shoulders and you feel a thrill of excitement when you look in the mirror and see yourself starting to look powerful, bulkier and muscular.

There are supplements that you can get to try and stock you up, my boyfriend had the same problem. Go into a health Food store and ask them if there is any supplements that would suit you. It might be an idea that you talk to a doctor first. Don't eat fatty foods it will just make you unhealthy
You can also go the gym and tone up, this will give you more muscle and you won't look as skinner. Good Luck

Keep your eating habits AND use those diet-drinks. Slim-fast or what ever the name might be. They are made to replace some food so you can loose weight. But if you keep eating while using them you will gain weight.
The same effect can be reached with those special drinks you get in a gym. And do some sports.
But being light is rather good for wrestling. If you are light your opponents are so too.
And if nothing else works go for chocolate. 250 g a day. That will do it.

Go to a personal trainer & ask him/her for a good healthy diet. You don't just want to gain weight, you want to build muscle too. So you're going to need a high quality protein source to bulk up on. And listen; if THAT doesn't work- don't sweat it. -75% of the population of this country would LOVE to be in your shoes right now. You're super healthy, can eat everything all the time- and will probably live to be 100. -we all wish we were so lucky!

First, exercise the least amount you can. Then try to eat extremely fattening foods, such as potato chips etc. If you are vegan, this will be harder to find such fattening foods but they are still out there! Good luck and if you're changing your image because other people think you're too skinny, ignore them!
