why do people add details to their questions and complain about some of the answers?
for example if they get an answer they dont like they hit 'add details' and then say something like "HAHA FUNNY ANSWERS EVERYONE!! EXCEPT FOR JOHNNY I DONT LIKE U >=[ GET A SENSE OF HUMOR"
or "HEY PROFESSOR I DONT LIKE U UR A LOSER! UR MOM IS UGLY"
honestly, is it because theyre so offended by the answers that they have to lash out or is it because theyre simply crazy

Usually people who verbally bash like that are very angry and uneducated and do it when someone is right. Like, once one of my answers was in contradiction but still intelligently said and then the asker started insulting only me in additional details! Why? Pure jealousy; hatred towards someone else that got right at their wrong, feeling themselves and their life is wrong. It's pathetic, but it's all they can do. They're only way of feeling more powerful when they know they're the weaker one! Sad, but true.

I think a lot of the time they do it because they want to comment to someone about the answer that person gave them, but the answerer hasn't verified his or her email, so there's no way to get in contact with that person. They add details in the hopes that that person is watching the question and might see it, I think. Personally, once I answer a question, I move on and don't go back to it, so I have no idea how many messages like that have been left for me. Normally I get people sending me hate mail. My email address is verified. :D

i think the examples that you have on their are just trying to be funny but all mine are cause im offended. for example i cant stand it when people say bands like fall out boy or hawthorn heights are posers and are all gay well no offence but those rapers who are wineing about being in the getto all live in mansions in the subarbs.

Well I guess you are referring to me!! I feel honoured you dedicated a question to me! Well for one b/c I can! And for two when people don't answer the question but just insult you instead!!! Did you read the answers! If you don't like my questions don't insult me just don't reply at all !Seems pretty obvious to me!So I guess my answer applys to you!! You act all inoccent like you gave a really nice answer and didn't insult me?

Personal opinion? People have a notion of what they believe to be the right answer to their question as they post it - so if someone comes along and it differs - then they have to degrade it.

i agree with felix. there's alot of immature people here but.. its pretty funny on some things they say. OH! i came up with an evil plan. why dont you answer their questions like they do so they'll know how it feels. give them a taste of their own medicine. ok.. maybe thats too evil but.. o he.ll they deserve it.
