Or lets say one has muscular legs from playing soccer. If they stop playing soccer, how long will it take for that person to lose their muscular legs?

3% a day? Dang that is going to take a long time... Wait that doesn't make sense tho since lots of ppl don't fully use their muscles everyday. That doesn't mean that ALL their muscle willl turn to fat?

Unused muscle begins to atrophy if not exercised within 2 weeks if you simply stop exercising. Daily activities will maintain a certain amount of muscularity.

If you are completely immobilized for some reason (coma, total bedrest, etc) muscle will begin to atrophy after only a few days.

EDIT:

Just to be clear, muscle and fat are 2 different tissues...

Muscle does not turn into fat or vice versa. If you are speaking figuratively, that's ok, but I wish to make that clear.

Depends on the condition you are starting from, but also from you new habits. Most athletes lose it rather fast because they continue to eat as much as they did when they were exercising, so they get fat rather quickly.

Everyday, 3% of ur muscle turned into fat if not being used completely.
