I have seen the miracles as God answers my prayers and those of others. How has He answered your prayer? What are the Miracles in your life? What is your testimony?

Of course God still answers prayer! He does it all the time in my life. I have a beautiful family and love in our hearts. He has kept us safe, warm and fed, just as promised. It took one time of showing back up at church and it already changed our lives! It's always so nice to see someone so sincere about God. Thank you for your post and God Bless you!

I still believe, yes. Way back 1992, I will be out of job because my contract was about to finished on July 7, 1990. 6 months before my contract ends I keep on praying for another job. For quite long time, no job was coming in. I was so desperate because I have to go back in my country and look for low paying job there. The host country just allow me to stay for 7 days from expiration of my contract and I need to fly back home. On the same day my contract end, July 7, I signed a new contract for a higher salary from other country. God answer my prayer in time I almost gave up. Never give up...God is always there in the right time. Our life is more valuable than any other things.

You must be joking surely? Are you not aware what prayer means, and what miracles are? Surely by now you must have some sort of appreciation of religious mental illness, a form of happy handicapped madness. Consider this.

Religious people pray to fence poles and cheese sandwiches.

People say they talk to aliens, people say they talk to God. The first lot are called nutters, the second lot are called religious. There's a lot of money to be made out of religion and it has become a well rehearsed play over time. Religious people also pray (talk) to fence poles and cheese sandwiches.

Christians are below average intelligence and tend to be very gullible, that's why when a fence pole or a cheese sandwich has an imprint that looks like a religious face, such as God or Our Lady, millions will flock to the spot and worship. It's also known as sheep to the slaughter syndrome.

All religions are just fantasy or mythology or cults, call it whatever you wish. The main religions also have magic tricks which are called miracles in Christianity.

Just watch what happens when a magic trick occurs, for example, the fence pole or cheese sandwich image starts to weep. Just watch how the flock of followers behave. People find it hard to accept reality so escape into fantasy and that’s what religion satisfies. Miracles are all in the mind and are nothing more than trickery.

I can tell you of people that I know who have been cured of cancer (without being medically treated), of a man being told he has AIDS not HIV, and then 19 years later, there is NO sign of the virus in his body, of a lady who lay in a coma for 3 months, and the doctors telling her family to make funeral plans.. that there was no hope of her living, and then as he spoke the words, she opens her eyes!! Those are all true testimonies, but the greatest miracle that I have ever been a witness to was when the lord Jesus took this former sinner and changed her heart. He changed my very thought process!! I no longer desire to do the things that I used to do. I sincerely prayed one night (actually it was about 2 a.m.) and I just cried out to God. I was on my knees for what seemed hours, just telling God how sorry I was that my life wasn't pleasing to him and that I needed him because I couldn't stop doing wrong on my own. He saved me that very night!!! It is no longer I, but Christ who lives inside!!!

I was watching "Bowling" the other day (don't ask me why LOL)

and this guy gets a strike and says "Thank you Jesus"

I didn't know that Jesus could help you with your Bowling. So, I went out to the local watering hole and stood by the bar and prayed that Jesus would help me catch a nice girl for the night, but alas I guess Bowling is more serious than catching a girl :-(

Oh well, I guess I'll just keep praying and see what happens, but so far Jesus/God have really sucked for me 8-(

Maybe if I tape a $100. bill to my forehead some young lass will find me attractive enough to take home ;-)

Praying is no better than pure chance no matter what anyone says :-(

A guy in our mens prayer meeting last night was telling us his wifes family (dad, mom and sister) spent Sunday evening with them. His mother inlaw had been suffering from a knee injury. He said her knee was swollen pretty bad and hurting her all night. They asked the mother if they could pray for her, who by the way isn't a believer. He told us after they prayed for her the swelling went down immediately and the pain left her.
I would say yes GOD certainly answers prayer.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Your brother don

Yes, He certainly still answers prayers; some of the answered prayers I've seen are: the return of a number of brothers and sisters in Christ returning to our church after long absences...
