What are the fundamental differences in the structure of a snooker cue from a pool cue? I want to know everything from materials used, weights, ferrule length and thickness, tip curvature and hardness, joints, popular styles and designs, etc. Sources would be appreciated. Come on snooker players! Here's your chance. I'm going to be asking more snooker questions in the future.

Tip softer and the cue is lighter. More attention to the placement of the cue ball than in pool.
