Ah, Prince George, center of BC. I have spent most of my life on the BC Coast.

In a lot of aspects the weather is similar. Depends on what you are looking for as there is a lot you can compare. Toronto, and other cities along the Great Lakes get more snow but are slightly warmer than PG. This is because of Lake effect snow. Then Northern Ontario tends to be colder than PG yet can get slightly less snow. This is a generalization, as noted, Ontario is a big place.

Hopefully they aren't headed to Timmins or Windsor. They are 4th and 10th on the worst winter weather list. BC cities don't make that list.

Here is a link that you can look at stats from some cities around the province. Mostly Toronto.

The northern and southern parts of Ontario vary greatly, as do the east and west due to the distance between the two, and terrain, etc...your best bet is to check the closest city/town to where you friends will be moving to on the link below...you can obtain daily forecasts as well as graphs showing the average temps., precipitation, etc. by month...

Narrow your parameters ! That's like asking 'How is weather in B.C. compared to London.' What part of Ontario ???

The record might want to study stormy with erratic gale rigidity winds. finally, it really is no longer taking section in out that way. mood says mild strong breeze off the starboard bow, moderat temps, and easily mild scattered clouds. Quarter sail to strbrd and rudder left 3 stages. we can attempt this.
