its not good for him, but its not gonna kill him... if you want him to live long and be healthy then feed him the food that is made for DOGS... giving him a treat now and then isnt going to hurt, but please never give him CHOCOLATE.. supposedly its really dangerous for dogs!

You got it Zipper. the "Sweets" WILL hurt your dog, because a canine is meant to eat canine food, not human food, and junk.
The worse thing, besides any possible allergic reactions is that giving your dog people junk food will make your dog fat, and THAT will shorten your dogs life-span. Sweets can cause diabetes very quickly to canine, and sneak up on the dog quickly and fiercely.
Perhaps, find a nice caring, knowledgeable home for your dog, and get yourself a goldfish-just don't let it swim in Sprite or coke!

Most of our sweets are sweetened with high fructose corn syrup. Dogs do not metabolize this ingredient well, and it can bring on diabetes in an otherwise healthy pet..Cola contains caffeine, and although most humans handle caffeine well, it causes dogs to have a racing heart rate, which can and does often bring on heart failure..
You CAN make plenty of homemade snacks that are healthy for your dog, and even more healthy than the store bought dog treats..If you would like simple recipes, email me..

I used to feed my dog people food (not sweets, coke, or kool aide) and she now has diabetes...She is completely blind from the diabetes and I have to give her a shot every morning at 6 am...So my advice..Dont give them ANYTHING but their food, maybe some boiled chicken, and dry treats.. (semi soft treats like beggin strips cause diabetes...Also coke has caffiene and caffiene has the same effects on a dog as chocolate (it can kill them)

WHY are you even thought of letting your dog drink COKE? What are you thinking? Are you out of your mind? Sprite is definitely a better choice.

dogs beg cause they want to eat. they are scavengers by nature.

you give into feeding you dog tablescraps and whatnot i will guarantee your dog will become fat and sick. not to mention he will begin to steal food.

stick to good healthy dog food, thats why its there.
