Yeah in order to understand what you want to do, you have to have some experience in life and put your self through situations so that you can see who you really are...if you just dream...nothing will happen, and btw is not a good idea not to be close to your culture....maybe thats why you dont know who you really are....

i guess every little girl has their own version of their wedding when they are young! I definitely did. I dreamt that mine will be in a church, wearing with a long train with a very big cake. While, there ain't going to happen cos i'm not a christian. I just want a simple wedding ceremony to be shared with closed family and friends. I may get a cake though.

I didn't really dream about it as a child, but now that I'm in quite a serious relationship, I catch myself daydreaming all the time. Just do whatever you want to do. It is your wedding and you should make it your special day, no matter what.

I always imagined I would get married in the church my grandma and I went to every Sunday. I dreamed of marrying someone like my grandfather and my husband in more ways than one seem to have the same personality as my grandfather. I dreamed I'd marry a white guy and I did!
All of the above came true.

yes i dreamt of ahving a non traditional wedding and a traditional wedding none of which ever happened because in the end having a wedding is just overrated but having a ceremony and reception and friends and family around is worth the effort for some right of passage...

Yes. But now I don't even care there is not one man worth marrying. And today it is exciting for most women to have a wedding and they forget that they will be married and committed and have to take care of a grown man.
Just get married and throw a party, that is what its all about anyway.

No - I never did. I always wanted to be free and independent and "marriage" did not sound like it. I dreamed of other things like traveling and living out of the fullest....dreams come true!

Not when I was a little girl, but more around the time when I was a teenager and in my 20's.
