Eat healthy foods and start going to the gym. Eat three meals a day with healthy snacks in between. Eggs, fish, and bananas are all good for weight gain, but you have to balance your diet too.

At the gym, do sets of 6-8 repetitions each with good form. That helps with mass (many sets with less repetition). Make sure you do them safely and properly. Work on your big muscles first, like your chest and quadriceps (maybe even your biceps/triceps). Go to the gym 3-4 times a week for weight training and a couple times for cardiovascular work.

I know the feeling....at 20 I was about 5'8" tall weighed about 140# had a 34 inch chest and a 28 inch waist. Today I am 5'10" tall, weigh 205#, have a 48 inch chest, a 33 inch waist and my bicep is larger today than my calves were at 20. It didn't happen quickly. It will only happen with work over years of training. Steroids make for a quick gain but are not worth the health issues you are likely to face later. Find a trainer that can give you a good workout regimen for your goals. Stick with the program and don't become discouraged. I didn't actually begin to gain significant weight until I was in my 30's. Good Luck!!! aimeoday is correct.....creatine will help as will a good protein supplement.

Drink lots of whole milk with Ovaltine for extra calories. Eat lots of meat and potatoes. Lots of carbohydrates, potato salad -- whatever you like. When my brother was in high school he needed to bulk up for football and his coach had him eat 6 times a day. One breakfast before school one at break lunch at school, lunch after school, dinner at 5 and another at 7 and dessert if he wanted. Let me tell you that along with the weights he was lifting w/ the team at school he had an amazing physique in no time. He wound up a 6'6" marvel & won a football scholarship to West Pointe and is now serving his 3rd term in Iraq. He was supposed to come home next month but I think they have suspended all the troops from leaving at the moment.

Also for excersize while it's still summer, swim all you can. Absolutely nothing will work more of your muscles faster. My nephews play water polo and they are the sleekest muscled boys you ever saw. And what better place to work your bod than where all the chicks in bikinis will be hanging out?

Get Mammoth 2500. It's a calorie rich protein powder you add to shakes, yogurt, cereal, etc. to gain weight (while working out your muscles). It's not a steroid, and it's healthy. My brother used it and gained about 25 lbs in less than a year. Include a lot of rotein in your diet.
Focus more of weight training every other day (heavy weights, small reps, as many sets as you can until you can't) as opposed to cardio, which burns calories and fat to make you lose weight and raises your metabolism.

I think there is a pill, powder, etc. that many bodybuilders use to produce mass called Creatine. Check it out.
