I do believe that you can claim central air on your taxes as a medical expense. However, you may need a doctor's note claiming that it is a necessity due to the severity of your symptoms.

Either your making this up to get a free central air system, or these allergies are all "in your head", so to speak, and are psychological in nature.
No, you will not get a tax break.
No, insurance will not pay for it.
And no, you do not deserve either.

Most insurance companies would disallow your claim. Chances are that you may not be able to count it as a health expense on your taxes either.
