Elephants can't run as fast as a horse first of all, and #2 why would a lion be chasing a horse anyways? Same thing with a kangaroo. Let's make sense out of this riddle first, then ask again.

I'm going to guess that the elephant, being on your left, is going the other direction, so in a moment he will have passed you and you can safely move over to the left.
Of course that only works in the US, because in the rest of the world, everyone drives on the wrong side of the road.

if the lion is travelling at the speed of kangoo then surely it would have overtaken u!!!! so u dont have to worry abt lion..u just pause for moment which will make elephant to overtake u... then by which u can turn back and go home safely!!!!
