Why do dog lovers let their muts lick their faces? If I could lick my jacksy - which I can't - I'm sure you'd think twice before letting me lick your face.

Actually I have heard that a dog's saliva is very acidic, killing germs - infact thats how they chew those hard bones, the saliva makes it soft so they can chew it. but i do confess, i love my dogs kissing me, and i love kissing their furry little snouts too!

I think I read somewhere that dog's mouths are actually cleaner than human's.
Doggy kisses are cute (well only if it's mine...not sure if I'd be so keen on another person's dog doing it, it'd be like someone else's kid kissing you..a bit weird....or maybe that's just me)
