transmit lung cancer cell? yes it's possible. but to actually develop lung cancer? probably not
it's possible that the blood just happens to have a cancerous cell, but the cell needs to find a place in the recipient's body to start growing. however, because that cell would look so different from the recipient's cells...the recipient's immune system will most likely kill it.

Answer is NO.

A cancer is the result of interaction between a tumor and its host. Even if a few cancer cells are passed on to the recepient during blood transfusion, the immune system of the recepient will eliminate them.

Past history of suffering from a major illness (cancer, heart disease, stroke, HIV) is a reason for rejection as a blood donor.

No it does not. It is quite difficult to grow various cancer cells and this is one of the problems of finding cures. We believe that some cancers are genetic, but others are unclear in the causal mode. Other diseases can be transmitted but under normal hospital technique, you will be safe from most, including HIV or AIDS.

No one with cancer would be considered for blood donation and even if they did, cancer would not spread that way.
