I had a cyst since june of this month. I'm just wondering if it ever would go away on its own.

Have a doctor check you up. As far as i know, cysts don't go away on its own. it should be removed through operation, i think, or by some medication prescribed by a doctor.
God bless.

Cyst is just a general term for a sack of fluid in your body. Even a pimple is a cyst. You need to be more specific. Even if it is a type of cyst that isn't going away, it can usually be easily removed. I have had a cyst removed from my neck and another from my wrist joint with minor surgery.

It depends on the type of cyst. I had a couple ovarian cysts and they eventually broke up and were absorbed back into my body (lovely, I know) . However they only gave them a couple of months to do that or they would of had to take them out surgically because if they burst it can be VERY painful and harmful to your body. I would check with your Dr. and ask for their reccommendations. Good Luck:)

Usually not. You will probably have to have it taken out by a doctor. If it is only small sometimes they just drain it... but it may need to be surgically removed.
