actually there is a way to do it without harming your jeep or taking other things out like a fuse or the button itself. if you go to 4wd.com there is a product that you slip it over the light sensor on the door and i pushes the sensor down so the jeep thinks the doors always closed. i would prefer this way over ductaping the sensor or pulling a fuse they cost 9.99 each. if you want to look at them i have attached the url below.

Pulling the fuse is an selection even with the undeniable fact that i imagine wiring in a change is a extra constructive answer. it can be slightly extra artwork initially yet trust it to be the great answer with extra accessible use. the interior lights are set off through the door pin switches which floor the circuit making it complete. in case you get rid of this floor it interrupts the circuit causing the lights to flow out. you in ordinary words favor to splice a change into the wires for the door pin switches. you could both deploy 2 switches fixed contained in the foot portion of both facet for each door. OF when you're routinely prone you could mount the change contained in the sprint to operate both doorways.

Pull the Door Switch Defeat fuse from the fuse box behind the glove box...
There should be a tidbit of information about how to locate it in the Owners Manual.

The button in the door pulls out if you wiggle it and pull. Just separate the white pigtail from the button and then put the button back in. You have to do this to both doors. to re-attach, simply reach up behind the dash and push the pigtail back through and reconnect. I only use the driver side button anyhow, I always leave the passenger side out.
