If done incorrectly, not only bad but can be disastrous! Seek professional help... see a licensed, professional stylist/colorist. If you have a n issue with a bad color job, you will be best served to go that route. Otherwise, learn to love hats because stripping hair can cause serious damage and breakage, even spot balding. See a pro and they will guide you on your safest path to get the hair you love (and keep the locks you have).

Maybe not bad for "you" but it is definitely bad for your hair. Do you realize that stripping your hair is "stripping" everything off of your hair? Imagine having a head full of hair that felt like a cotton ball.
Not a pretty sight.

Yes, if it is done wrong or to often!!!!!! My daughter had it done a month before her wedding and then colored and her hair turned out eggplant purple!!!!!!! She went back to the girl ... and she tried to fix it.... the girl stripped it wrong. Now my daughter has a problem with part of her hair keeping color and she cant do anything to it for at least a year. Be sure if you have it done that it is by someone who knows what they are doing.

stripping color ( i assume is what you want) is very bad for the hair. Depending on the state of the hair currently, it could mean major breakage. Has your hair been bleached, colored many times, or is it fairly healthy? It depends on the current state, even healthy hair will be very damaged after color stripping.

its not totally bad if done at a salon by a professional but its not gonna make your hair happy, thats for sure.

anything that has to do with color and you put it in your hair is bad for you so your answer is yes
