Is there a pistol grip for the Henry AR-7 survival rifle? I'm sure people have sawn off the stock to use it like a pistol, but why? That is where the rest of the rifle stores when broken down. It was designed small enough for a fighter pilot to carry in the cockpit as a survival rifle.

The AR-7 is featherlight, recoil-less and can be shot with one hand. I owned the original Armlite version of the AR-7 and broken down could be stored in the glove box. Sawing the stock off or adding a pistol grip would make it a pistol, therefore illegal in some places and for some people.

Leave it as is. It is more usable that way.

I have an AR-7 to I also found a book for it at the same guy show I
bought it for I tells you to order a pistol grip handle along with the
pistol grip because the front sight on the barrel is plastic it pops
off quite easily and was machined to exactly 1/2" its easy to thread for a suppressor I get the hint this guys going for the same setup as the book says stay away from doing this it will get you in a lot trouble I will sell the blueprints from the book if you like it
also has a parts list that liststhe pistol grip email me at

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.

According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

I'm not exactly sure what your question is. It is one very cool little .22 , originally developed by Armalite the AR-7 only weighs a little over 2lbs. The entire rifle disassembles and fits in the waterproof stock....
