If it were flat you would have ask why didn't God create a round Earth.

I'd say it's against the laws he set up when HE created everything in this dimension.
Also, I would like to point out - GOD probably has a different dimension with different set of rules to tinker with.
I would imagine GOD has a set of dimensions with "weird to us" universes as some people have different scale model railroad sets in their garage.
You are just in the wrong dimension, sorry.

It is just not as efficient. Round is the shape that has the minimum surface area for the maximum volume. Every point of the surface is equal in distance to the center. It has minimum variations in gravitational acceleration and good aerodynamics.

Because he didnt want people to adjust from square earth to round earth... since rotating objects ultimately become round...

Because then we'd have no gravity, there would be no night and day, there would be no atmosphere, we'd have no moon, no tidal changes, uneven heat distribution and probably more that I can't think of right now.

If HE did there would be no place for Australia!!!!
I got stuck in Australia one time--- wish I could have jumped off!
Gravity was too strong though.
