He wanted to know what kind of stuff my current boyfriend does when we are having sex. I've with my new guy for over a year so he's not really new, the ex is from 2 1/2 years ago.

He is still possessive of you and your body and is not able to get over it.I think its none of his bussiness to know about your sex life now since he has lost a chance to be with you.Curiousity kills the cat.Think he wants to know just to make sure he was doing it right and better. This is very cheap question to ask especially knowing you well for the past
2 1/2 years. He might be having insecure feeling and low in confidence regarding his sex life after you left him.So may be wanted to clarify with you.But whatever the reason for you splitting with him,he has no right to ask you such question. It lacks decency. No self respecting man will ask a question like this to his ex.

He's either curious or insecure or a little of both. Unless you sense he may have learned a thing or two and you want to share, go ahead. Mostly though, he's quite presumptuous and should mind his own business.

Um, what DOES your new boyfriend do that's different from the previous boyfriend? Just kidding. :-D

Because...as guys, we all want to know. This (sex) is what guys are interested in. We pretend to care about what you think and what you want. We really DONT care. We want one thing. You don't have to believe it...It is simply the truth. If any guy tells you differently...he is only telling you what you want to hear...to gain some advantage for himself. One advantage might be to "just shut you up". The more likely is to pretend to sympathize with you to get inside your pants. It is just the way it is. Deal with it.

Guys are insecure sexually. Part of its just curiousity, he wants to know what he's missing. The other part is he wants to know if this guys better than he is in bed and if thats why you'd rather be with your b/f rather than him. He still has an interest in you and includes a sexual interest. His ego is hurt and he wants to know ifhe can measure up to the new guy sexually. That's how guys think.

He ask you so he can compare himself to your current boyfriend. If you haven't figured it out yet he wants you back and is looking for ways to win you back.Tell him to blow, you shouldn't be talking to him anyway, bet your boyfriend wouldn't like it either.

Obviously he is jealous and wants to know why he isnt good enough for you.

If you are good friends with him, go ahead and tell him.
Otherwise, tell him to FUUCK off.

jealous...maybe he wants your man, and this gives him something to think about when he's home alone punching the clown for the 5th time of the day.
