Christians will soon be hated most likley before the next millennium. It will happen just like it says it will in the Bible.

Yes, absolutely. Christianity is doing much more than just surviving...

I see Christianity growing by leaps and bounds around the world (even in the USA -- check out the seeker oriented churches such as those of Rick Warren, and Bill Hybels).

The church I attend had 25,000 (twenty-five thousand) people attend a recent summer outreach event...

Each weekend, the church has three services on Sunday, two on Saturday; and due to so many seekers coming to church, the church has had to recently add a fourth service on Sunday...
Multiple baptisms are the norm every weekend.

Thousands of people are committing their lives to Christ through the Seeker Movements across the USA.

The Christian Gospel is being preached, and many people are accepting the gospel.

This is good news indeed, and Christianity will last for as long as there are human beings on earth.

Cordially,
John

of course it will... it's based on nonsense, and childish needs.. it will survive the next millenium just as it did the last two, and even more so, just like islam has been growing...

the idiots, the uneducated, the poor.. they all want glory in an afterlife, because they've found no redeeming function in their miserable real lives.. They think there must be something better, "lord have mercy"/"god willing", and live their lives like children, never taking initiative, complaining about society.

as always, you end up with religion as a force fundamentally against the further civilization of the planet as a whole, all based on books written 1500-2000 years ago..

Hey Jannus-x,

only the Lord knows. The Bible tells us that no one knows the hour or the day of the Lord's return. Yes as we look upon the world we see that much is in place for the return of Christ and then the ushering in of the Anti-Christ.

Seeing that we always ought to live in the light of Christ's anytime return.

God is in control and nothing can happen that he does not permit. Although there is much anti-Christian sentiment, it is a reminder for believers that the return of Christ is nearer and nearer and we ought to make the most of every opportunity to share God's love with others.

Hope that helps,

Nickster

I'm not pretty sure there is going to be another millennium...
If so, as long as there be one active believer of the principles alive... any religion and credo will survive, specially one that is such a strong believe as for to modified and dictate the way of living for a complete generation in so many nations...

Yes. Christianity is still growing rapidly in some parts of the world. In Nepal numbers have doubled in the last 15 years...

If mankind doesn't destroy itself in the mother of all holy wars first you mean? It seems that many Christians need Armageddon to happen to justify their beliefs. How many Christians would think there is a silver lining in a mushroom cloud in the middle east?

But supposing mankind does survive, then I expect there would still be Christians, and they would still be arguing that there generation is in the end days.

Atheism is common and not new to any religion. Science enlighted lot about the religion, but the religions will not fall until it does not have faith in terrorism. Because after some time, people respect their religion for the (thier) cultural value, heritage value, historic value etc.

Christ, let's hope not. Religion needs to go away to make way for truth. I'm not saying that there is no higher power, but come on people. The stories of 'god' and his adventures on earth are way too full of holes to be credible any more.

Oh yeah. That's the one thing about Christianity we can be sure of. It will survive, but who will survive and make it to God and Jesus? Of course, in the end everyone will be a believer... even Allah!
