why would God destroy Randi and his family?

I think it is a fair challenge. Why shouldn't he be proving that people are being ripped off by faith healers, psychics and such. My brother, Steve Shaw, was part of project alpha with Randi. He makes a living working as a mentalist and magician, not taking advantage of people who are mentally often at their weakest.
So why would God destroy someone who is working to protect people from those who will take advantage of them.

It's a fair and unbiased challenge -- and yes, the money is there in escrow, waiting. No one's been able to take it and win yet, due to the cheat prevention.
And no, God is not going to destroy him just because someone can't faith heal in a controlled environment. Funny how that 'faith' evaporates in a circle of cameras.

What? Of course not.
But I do think that Randi will define things in such a weaselly manner that he wouldn't accept *anything* as evidence, and will be holding on to his money. (I'd also love to know if he actually has the money to give!)
