The Shiites mainly believe this myth, but Iran's leader/wacko was proclaiming that this Imam was supposed to return and greet him and together they would rid the world of the Israelis and the Christians.

Are you talking about the shi'tes or some other Muslim denomination?
Muslims have several denominations just like the Christians.

I am Muslim (SUNNI) and this is absurd!!!!!!!!!! I have never heard of this, infact these beliefs are against the religion! I apologize for the misconception and agree with you that it is crazy. Islam does not indorse this AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!
