If you don't have layers get a few long ones, this will take some of the weight off the hair, which in turn will help to bring some curl about, and do away with some damage.
Go to Sally's or Family Dollar, Dollar General, and buy a jar of Cholesterol, it is usually sold in the area with African American hair products, but can be used on all types of hair, it is a great repair and deep conditon product. Use a moisturizing shampoo and cholesterol every day, apply styling gel to help coat the hair, do not use a hair dryer if possible, if you must, then use a diffuser. Style while you dry and stay away from curling irons and hot rollers, avoid as much heat as possible for a while. During this time you can try some braids or up do's like the french twist, they always look elegant.
Massage the scalp daily, this will help to produce natural oils that will help to repair hair.
Good Luck...

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately the best thing would be to cut (trim it) . Don't know how long your hair is. If it's short it should grow out soon, but if it's long you might want to part with about 3-4 inches of it. Use a good moisturizing shampoo and everyday conditioner and deep conditioner every couple days. You might also want to try Frizz-ease Hair Serum by John Frieda. For shampoo I like Matrix Color Care Therapie Shampoo and Conditioner. For a deeper conditoner I'm hooked on The Body Shop Poppy Seed Oil Hair Reviving Mask

Honey try a really good hot oil, I swear by olive oil...... plain old olive oil that you buy at the market. heat it up so its warm, apply to dry hair, and cover with a plastic cap, then wrap a hot towel (dryer works great to heat it) around your head turban style. leave on for an hour or longer.... some people leave it on overnight.
when its time to rinse.... make the water as hot as you can stand, and rinse, cool the water to normal, and us ea tiny bit of moisturizing shampoo, concentrate on the roots and avoid the ends. follow with a good conditioner, I really like Biolage conditioning balm, and Pantene Restoratives.... the Pantene makes my hair feel like silk.......
Do this once a week until your hair feels better.
Tips.... Only use styling products that are alcohol free..... check out the John Freda line. they make a killer mousse for curly hair that tames frizz and NO ALCOHOL! That whole line rocks! I use a couple different things in it.
You may benefit from having some subtle layers put in, this will trim some of the dead hair, while keeping your length.
Warning......
Never brush your curls when wet... use a wide tooth comb or a pick.
Try to avoid heat on your hair... but if you do need to blow dry, use a diffuser attachment.... that will deflect some of the heat, and enhance the curl.
Hope I helped

There is really nothing you can for the fried part except take really good care of it...meaning get some deep conditioning treatments by a professional and cutting it every 4-6 weeks until it eventually grows and is cut off. Make sure you baby it...good luck. You can also hide it by putting it in a bun or braid until enough has grown out that you can cut it off.

Use Dove's new Shampoo and Conditioner. It is just for making fried hair back to being beautiful again. But, I have naturally curly hair and I hate it, so my best advise is to stay straight ;)

you will need to stop all perm and heat treatments for curls. I would get a good cut and ask the hairdresser to emphasise your natural wave (if you have one)
