definitely love. but arranged marriages tend to have better outcomes from what i've seen.

There really is 2 sides to it...
1. Arranged. I would favour an arranged marriage because you will be supported by your family and your partners family. There is less chances to break up over a petty argument like "You don't love me anymore" in the beginnings, and it is shown that the most difficult time in a marriage are the first years. Your relationship would grow over the years. When you are still young you cannot judge so much what love is about, and whom you realy love and if it's real love, especially if it's your first love. Of course there are always some exceptions and you should not marry someone whom you absolutely don't like. Your parents should not force you to do so either. If you have a partner whom you trust and whom you've known for quite some time, it is adviseable to marry him/her, if both your parents agree.
I myself am having a love marriage, which was a bit arranged as well however...
Having a love marriage based on a spontaneous decision is most of the times not going to do well, especially if you're not willing to work on the marriage...

arranged marrriages don't last or they are not real the whole time they are going on also, I read somewhere that with regards to people all over the world only 1 in 4 marriages is really based on Love
How do you figure?
and that could be the reason for so much divorce etc.

It is said that marriages are made in heaven. But to make it a reality and durability in marriages it is always better to tie the knot after falling in love with dream partner and then arrange it.

Hi Radhika, I think rather than askin this question from us , You should ask this question to urself because marriage is somethin which happens once in life so If you feel that You love somebody then Love marriage is ideal otherwise let ur parents Choose, This is about your own personal preference rather than somebody else.
Like I am also searchin for a soulmate & my firm believe is Love marriage

Love marriage because you know who you want. Arranged marriages don't always work out you know? You never know who'll be getting and some people want more.
