After some of the posts I have seen tonight against non-believers, one of which out-right told atheists to commit suicide...others trying to find whatever proof they can that atheism and non-belief in general are what is wrong with this world...
My question is, to those prejudiced people, do you even know how much GOOD many atheists and other non believers have contributed to our world?
You want some truth of us, this video is pretty good... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdVucvo-kDU
To think that some would discredit all that some people have done that has helped us all. Things that the prejudiced people themselves have benefited from or would one day help their grandchildren. The things that many of these people have invented or discovered, they did not care what religion anyone is, they did it to help all of their people, human kind in general. They have also given their lives as troops, donated organs to save a life, helped with causes that save lives...
Hate us or not, we have many great people.

I think the sentence 'good works do not make you right with God' is exactly the reason why Christians are judged as being arrogant.
I am a non-believer, and I devote almost all my live to humanity, to charity-causes, etc.
The fairy-tale that 'letting jesus inside your heart' is enough to get to heaven , is a false one. It's even in their Bible. Rev 20:13 talks about the 'white throne judgement', which means that all non-believers will be judged by God based on their deeds and works.
I truly wish everybody would WANT TO be judged on their works. It would make the world a much better place to live in.

People who make stupid, hateful, mean comments about any person's personal religion usually have the smallest minds. As shown by your video link. If they were 1/100 as smart as the ones in the video then maybe they would not be making those remarks. Trouble is they are not that smart and they never will be with minds so small.
Too bad they don't remember that they only have a 50% chance that they are right.
They don't have any more of an edge than anyone else does.

It is said that the greatest flaw in christianity is the christians themeselves. I think that us christians should start living up to the standards that are given to us. Jesus Christ said do not judge and many christians tend to ignore that. We have no right to judge or "condemn" you non-believers. And for that I apologize, for I am a christian. I strongly disagree with some of the methods used to convert other people. It is said that people do not make believers, God does. We only show them the way. Once again, I apologize. You can believe whatever you want.

I don't hate atheists.
Now. Atheists are the first one to quote scripture.
I see you failed to quote scripture about this "Good Atheist" that God refers too. What chapter and verse is this?
You seem to use a word "prejudiced people", quite loosely.
I watched a clip of Charles Manson giving a dude a cigarette, is this a GREAT man because he helped someone?
When you learn the Word of God., You and I can discuss the Word of God. You actually don't want to sit there and explain to me, it's verses and meanings.
Now, First of all, a Atheist is a scriptural scoffer, by God's definition, not mine. When you learn what a scoffer is, you come back to me and we can talk.
If you understand what I just wrote, that is great. If you don't, thats is rather unfortunate.

No one is questioning the numbers of great people and their many contributions to this world. There are great believers and non-believers alike.
But the focus of many religions is not THIS world, but what lays ahead after we all depart from this world. Is it "hatred" to be concerned about someone's eternal destiny?

even the evil one does good to get the people on his side then gets them to do bad. just because your actions to something is good doesn't make you right. its more than actions like its more than money that helps others. for even the bible says tat good needs are not the only path to heaven. even Christians have to do right, completely right. all people have good in them somewhere.
here is a thought if a medicine is good for a health issue, but is later found to kill some types of people who's bodies couldn't handle it. does that make the medicine completely bad for everyone and people who are fine with it have to quit. who do you think that hurts.

i agree with button...good deeds do not make you righteous..this existance is not an accident..i don't wish any ill will to anyone..so those that bash anyone else are jerks..not representative of real believers...i choose to use common sense that air to breathe, water to drink, human emotions and sunshine and food to eat is more than some stupid accident..and someone to hold and become one with is not the results of chance..i was made not stumbled upon..
