To get Christians won over to atheism?
Or to create a united front, consisting of Americans of ALL philosophical bents, against the Trotskyite neoconservatives (largely atheists, but not YOUR kind of atheists, of course) who have duped American evangelicals into buying into their "support Israel in ANY case" philosophy?
I know these people. Heels are going to be dug in harder if you aren't wise in how you present your anti-war argument.

Journey: Sorry for the lack of clarity. When I said "I know these people," I was referring to evangelicals. And yes, Journey, it is isolating to be an anti-war evangelical, at least on YA. I don't really mind asking questions that make some people on BOTH sides of the philosophical fence think, or, in your case, rant.

In response to Journey's kind email of this a.m. which led me to see the addition to her comment. That apology took a lot of guts, and it is accepted.
P.S. When I have more time, I'd like to TRACK YE DOWN on YA and talk more about the history, and future, of neoconservatism in the US and around the world. ;)
