No I do it all the time. I'm a Diet Pepsi addict and always bring a bottle when I travel. If they've never been opened they will be fine.

No, it won't burst. The person who says the hold is not pressurised is wrong. The hold is pressurised. They carry animals in there these days.

Yes, the cargo are of the plane is not pressurized as well as the inside of the plane, so it could burst.

No, they won't. I've had them on flights and never had one burst. However, you do have to be careful when opening it!
