Very first date I went on was a blind double date when I was 13. The guy was 17. We had zero to talk to each other about. We went miniature golfing and he said he didn't have his wallet. I can't remember what the other couple did. I was mortified. Never saw him again (all this happened when I was on summer vacation in NY...I live in CA).
Other story: went w/a male friend who had a crush on me to a Herman's Hermits concert. He very seriously said to me, "Would you like to clap along??" Cracked me up. Can't remember what, if anything, I said to him. But...I didn't clap!!
