I don't know whether it is serious or not. NEITHER DO YOU.
See a doctor. It could be a condition that gets more serious. It could get infected and prevent you from having a baby in the future. Now, that's a serious complication if it happens, so see a doctor even though you don't want to do so.

When a miscarriage completes on its own, the woman usually has heavy bleeding and cramps for 6 hours or so, passes more solid appearing tissue, and then feels better. The bleeding stops over days to a couple of weeks. If you think you have miscarried, you should let your doctor or midwife know the next day so they can check to be sure it is complete, and that you don't need any further treatment. If your blood is type Rh negative you should receive Rhogam, to prevent you from making antibodies against fetal blood cells-which could cause a problem in future pregnancies.

You really should see a doctor. It's possible some of the tissue remained from your miscarriage inside of you. If that is the case then your body is trying to get rid of it (hence the pain and the bleeding). However in this case, the doctor has to continue scraping it out otherwise infection will set in and it will not heal but in fact cause you serious damage.
Please see a doctor!

I went thru a miscarriage last year. Im sorry to hear that you have to go thru it too. I had a DNC and about a couple of days after I had severe pain and I also had heavy bleeding. I called my doc and he said that this was my bodies way of catching up to the miscarriage. What you are going thru could just be your way of healing. However I am not a Doctor, only your doctor knows best. I would at least give your doctor a call and ask if it is normal or not.

When did you have the miscarriage? It is normal to feel pain while the uterus is shrinking (very strong contractions). Some bleeding could also be normal after a miscarriage. But, did you have a D&C (dilettage and curettage)? If you didn't you might have some tissue left inside that needs to be removed by a doctor, least you bleed to death. I'm sorry if this is scary, but to be safe you really need to be seen by a health care professional.

I know sometimes you don't want to go to the doctor because you think you know your body well enough, but if your asking then yes you really need to see a doctor. Especially if they did a DNC on you.
